Adulting

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is trying to get their adult life in order whilst trying to live their best life; balance I don't know that word.

This thing called adulthood is like a rollercoaster while you sky dive,

It's juggling having a social life and handling my own version of a 9-5,

Balancing your mental well being,

Establishing a productive daily routine,

Drinking 8 cups of water,

Keeping up with Netflix and finding an adequate skin regime,

Did anyone else have a plan of where they'd be?

Then got hit with a heavy dose of reality,

Cause I know my destiny is more than just bills, child!

But the cost of living in 2023, has me rethinking life,

In a world where same day delivery is prime,

Just eats at your finger tips;

Should I get it one last time?

Food is the way to the heart so surely that's a sign,

So If I'm broke that's my business;

It's how I manifest the life I want, so that everyday feels Christmas,

Regular trips aboard, gym life, brunches, creative and positive vibes,

Where do I sign to live my best life?

Can't help being a dreamer,

It's better than just trying to survive!

You never really know what it means.

Well, I guess that's adult life.
