Electric ultra-violet rays

So luminous I gotta wear shades

Glowing in ways you can only see with your eyes closed.

With a feather touch as sweet as plums,

Lilac petals rolling off our tongues

And wine-drunk with lavender lust

I’ll paint you a canvas in royal hues

As you swirl through nebulas of red and blue

In a magenta daze on a higher plane

Don’t forget to come back to me, my love.

Close your eyes and hold my hand

Split me open like a prism

Like a geode filled with amythest

And meet me at the bottom of the rainbow

love poems
