Oh Jane, my dear friend

How much longer can one man stand

To be apart from thee?

We must read from Poe, from Descartes, from the tombs of despair

That shook Camus,

Indeed, I am a man who bleeds philosophy as I feel it like poetry,

I drink it in like love as it reads like geometry,

As Descartes believed higher knowledge is gained through the higher power of God,

I seek Jane for her piety,

Yes, her eyes of pure sun moon purity,

Unblemished by cruelty,

Let us read Shakespeare

Not for Romeo but for Mercutio

A tragic, comic figure,

But most of all,

We should be side by side doing so,

Laughing and teasing,

Debating in a intellectual mood and talking over tea,

But alas, I am chained up by a mad raven, in my dark house,

Watching as a hawk over me,

Punished like a criminal

As I have tormented by a heart’s feeling.
