They say weather is an endeavor and is also very clever.

The spectrum and shine of a rainbow design

They say black is not a color, I beg to disagree,

Cause you will always see it on me.

But what you have to do is see the truth

And that adding colour is a couth.

It might be sparkles, shiny things, or glitter

Those make the black not look bitter.

Pink, turquoise, red, blue or white

All the colors make black filled with delight.

Color is a perception

And sometimes a deception

But it fills our life with happy

And sometimes we get sappy

The rainbow we see cross the sky

Is it heaven where people go to die

Colors follow us threw the ups and downs of life,

We always wonder if they look good on us as a wife.

A Grandma, Mother, daughter, aunt or niece, we all dream of colors in our head

As we lay our thoughts of the night down on the bed.

Those moments we celebrate in life always in our hearts,

The color of clothing we remember in parts

We cling on to color to brighten our days

Especially my Birthday which falls in May.

I will be 50 this year and the memories I hold so dear.

I have love and lost, and lived and learned

Oh those colorful days for which I yearn.

Love is color, which ever we chose,

In life we win and we lose.

I still wear black and take no slack, but I add color

Cause it reminds me of my other

Self who looks in the mirror and wants more out of the next fifty years

And more colorful life moments and tears.

When a rainbow shines it brings true light and divine

Timing comes without rhyme or reason and of many seasons

Like a rainbow shines at the end of the storm

Even when our hearts feel torn.

Colors of life we all have seen the years passing in between.

Playing out life in a movie scene.

Grasp the black, but add colors too

So it will make you feel up when you feel blue.

Hold on to the color and sensation and let it all sink into your heart

Don't let life tear you apart.

Always see light shining around the base being black

The colors of aura bring your colors back.

You are a part of this colorful world

Even if wearing black seems absurd.

Why do you wear black Miss Muckley

I guess it makes me feel lucky

We are a part of the colors that make us who we are today

So keep shining once the rain fades away.

The rainbow brings sparkles and shadows on the floor

Rocking my heart down to its core.

We all need that pot of gold

Especially as we will all get old.

Hold on to all you know and never let go.

Shine bright like a diamond with all your might

And don’t ever let your love of color go out of sight!
