Pride Without Honor

Integrity Lacking, Non-Verbal or Action Lacking

What is our role?

What is our goal?

Why for other people we have to fulfill part of their whole

Schema of plans

Getting the upper hand

Yet being superior

Does not mean degrading others as inferior

Or belittling them by just focusing on their exterior

Or their interior

Mental

Chemical Brain Functions

Of neurons wiring

And firing

Yet, together we're separating ourselves into further categories

This is not the future that we're desiring

We all come from a history of "separate but equal"

Yet, we are not equal

Repeating history worse than terrible sequel

People need justice

None are getting any, so we are just less

Without a way of communicating our own pain and anger

Painting ourselves and one another, war tribes forming a danger

As we separate ourselves but claim unity

Sad thing is, the effects continue without such impunity

We all need to work on ourselves

Since we're a chain of broken links

Yet these links can connect together better than we think

So as we tink

and Tinker away

Day-to-day

It's a sight of absolute beauty

When you open up what's underneath the overlay

and embrace

The pride we have along with integrity

Yet, our words and actions become violent weaponry

Commitment comes in action

&

Inaction

The choices we make have rippling effects that gain traction

Trying to claim our self

Like light through a prism separating in refraction

Together or apart, we have to learn that we shine brightly regardless

Of how people systems try to pull us apart, death by distraction

It is our job to hold ourselves accountable

Its understandable if you believe your tasks are insurmountable

But let's just count them all

When it comes to following through

The steps of execution from planning are all up to you

And how you lead yourself

Not just the others

Commitment isn't slavery

But it can be easy to be overly smothered

With a case of work that we have on our table

Making a reality sometimes feels like a fable

We become

Run down

Powered Down

In need of a recharging cable

Staying in motion is difficult

You're more than a plow horse stuck in a stable

So, we should be more than just a tool

Used to plow the fields being labor for another's fruits

To be used as a signal reduces one's self to being overly minute

It's time to refute

And acknowledge where our differences can make a difference

It's more than learning indifference

It's more than about adopting a preference

To only be given preferential treatment

Due to a special feature is sick then

We're all just organisms that need to have our needs met

It's a shame that some of us can't speak them

Power over our selves was given impeachment

So, disenfranchised, stripped, and broken we're weak then?

No, in our vulnerability we should be made stronger than before then

We were hiding

Confiding

Instead of coming forth because of these social wars flocks want us siding

With their birds of feather

To stick together

Yet, those bonds can be broken like worn-torn, dried, leather

So, keep going the distance like a marathoner

Run past the horizon, til you become a goner

So, when we learn that for things to come full circle so do we

As we continue to move forward

Eventually we will learn to have pride in one another with ourselves along with our honor
