Pride; We have this

Unabashedly, I remain unapologetic

I carry no shame

For the sexuality I wear

I hold no remorse

And as I stand in my pride

As I hold my head up high

I will not bow to meagre forces

That might attempt to bring me down

For in my glory

In this story

I reign supreme

I am in my power

And should someone attempt to sway you

And lead you down an unsavoury path

Walk away for there is great strength

You have no need to react

And in your restraint

You hold the key

The happiness comes from within

Reach within for your courage

And as I shimmer with my tenacity

As I embrace my zest for life

As I become more animated

Remember we must pay a price

For the shadow within needs healing

The shadow needs to be assimilated

And its transmutation

In its shedding into light

For our potency comes from our unity

Our ability to join forces
