Pride & Joy

Who would've imagined that "He" would bless me with you beautiful angels,

I had always hoped that he would but never thought you guys would become reality.

Immaculate from your small baby toes up to your curly hair filled with tangles,

You look just like me in the purest form & it shows with such clarity.

The way you play & laugh with such innocence,

It all is done in a blissful way with such grace.

The way you were benounced onto me seem like a mere coincidence,

But I knew instantly you were brought into My World & you had already held in my heart a special place.

The day I first saw your face & held your precious tiny hands,

I felt that rare kind of emotion that some don't get the chance to experience.

As I held you in my arms I felt beloved as if it was all part of "His" plans,

& so It was at those moments I knew what it was like to be in that sense of coherence.

It is always nice to know that as times changed you guys became My Legacy,

& I hope you all know that I love you all; even before I knew you were a girl or a boy.

So, with these words I hope you all always remember one thing,

I love you all unconditionally regardless of what you do because you guys are my Pride & Joy.
