Oh pretty pike, a fish I like,
So full of beauteous menace.
I used to know a perky pike.
His name was deadly Dennis.

Dedicated to Dharrsheena Raja Segarran who is the such a lovely and supportive fellow creator.
More whimsy from me. If you find it too whimsical, you must blame the following for leading me astray:
Lamar Wiggins for his The Joke's on me, and
Matthew Fromm for his Korny
Thanks for reading and thanks again to Dharrsheena, Lamar and Matthew. Best wishes to them and to all Vocal creators.

We called them "Northerns". Mom loved to fish for them, though she made us bait her hook & remove anything she might have caught. (She did cast her own line & reel it back in.)
Hahaha, I actually know a deadly Denis! Great little verse, Raymond! And how good of you to dedicate it to dear Dharrsheena. She deserves all the love of this world.
