Nantucket fish bucket
A preposterous tale on an unlikely scale

There was an old man from Nantucket
Who liked to keep fish in a bucket.
He kept carp and trout,
And a pike that could pout,
And a salmon that liked to say 'fuck it!"

With thanks to Lamar Wiggins for the inspiration to write this piece. Please take a look at his hilarious: The Joke's on me
At the risk of risking further ribaldry, not only have I only just learnt the history of the Nantucket Limerick, I have also stumbled across another connection. Nantucket can be an anagram of a phrase relating to my English county of residence, Kent: A Kent C***. To me, Nantucket will always be associated with the Nantucket sleighride, a term relating to the days of whaling and Herman Melville.
