I feel pretty,

even when I feel nothing.

Most of the time

it’s all I have.

Even when I feel nothing,

I put on a smile.

It’s all I have

to give.

I put on a smile

and prepare myself

to give

even when I’m empty.

Prepare myself

most of the time,

even when I’m empty.

I feel pretty.
