Prayers for Her (Pt. 28)

My way of encouraging other parents to keep praying for their children

By Rowan Finley Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Dear Lord,

Show me how to show her how to seek you first,

with joy, may she daily burst.

Under the pews at church,

tickling peoples ankles, she makes people lurch.

I want to be her everything, but that's prideful of me,

and, at first, maybe many people would disagree.

God, you're her everything, and I pray she sees that early on,

because I cannot stand to see her turn into Satan's pawn.

Grant her confidence and reassurance,

as she will always and forever need your blessed assurance.

May she swim in oceans of grace and your humility,

and may she see the good all around her, to the best of her ability.

She’ll be all of that, because of you as her Dad 😊
