Prayers Be with You

A prayer goes on in my head

While I rest here on my bed

I pray for all which, in turn, means I'm praying for me too

So, I pray for all of mankind so that they can live another day to see that everything might not be true

I pray for the health of all

I pray for the soldiers still standing tall

I pray for the people who need it more than me

I pray for peace on earth so that everyone can just be

The prayer that goes on in my thoughts is one of a kind

It is not known in many a mind

I pray for salvation from this ugly place we call Earth

Because it no longer is what it used to be and it no longer has that much worth
