Prayer of Hope

1 Thessalonians 5:17

By Rowan Finley Published 8 months ago 1 min read

Lord, you are most excellent and Holy. Your heart for people to be saved is consistent. Every person is a master work of art because you formed them. I’m amazed by your choice of diversity. Your mercy and grace are matchless. The people around me on the day to day, help them to long for the truth. You are the truth. There is nothing you don’t see. World hunger breaks your heart more than it could ever break our hearts. You see the spiritual condition of every human. Everything is laid bare before your perfect vision. People try to hide their sin, but God sees the good, the bad and the lukewarm actions that are made.

May the fire of revival ignite all around. May more people see you as the only way for their spiritual salvation and spiritual food that their souls long for daily. I pray for people to become radical with the grace and generosity they extend. Let us give sacrificially, and with great joy. I pray for people to truly see their deep spiritual hunger. Many people in the world continue to seek substances to satisfy them, but these substances don’t last, they can’t last because they are not you. You have, and continue to display your love for humanity.

The adversary wants to keep people blinded to their desperate need for salvation. I pray for sincere forgiveness to rest in my heart and that it would inspire others to forgive too. Any harbored unforgiveness will eat away, as toxic acid to the human heart. I want all people to be free. Sometimes I believe sickness has a way of reminding us how fragile we are, that our days our numbered. I pray that you would heal those with sicknesses and diseases so that the miracles would give you glory, Lord Most High.

May the wonder of worship continue to overflow from our actions.

Amen! 🙏

It really stopped me. "Sometimes I believe sickness has a way of reminding us how fragile we are..." what if our numbered days aren’t a countdown to fear, but a countdown to meaning?

““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV 😇 We have power and authority that most people don't realize- hands on for healings, for starters.
