Potpourri

"Breeze dried eyes" didst make me swoon! You. Are. Gifted. ๐
Brilliantly-crafted & Beautifully-written!
Wonderful
Oh, wow. Great haiku, Caitlin. Good luck with the challenge <3
I love how this haiku captures both the beauty and the quiet sadness of the season.
Beautiful haiku and photo, Caitlin. You do inspire to wander outside and take photos. Thank you for sharing.
I love the comparison of autumn leaves to potpourri. Very apt. Well done!
This is quite the description of wet autumn leaves even after they dry.
What an interesting and atmospheric haiku! I love how you've captured the full cycle of autumn in just a few lines.
Great description of your image
Love the context on that picture, your original words are perfectly fitting. Is that a raspberry plant by the way?
Beautiful haiku, Caitlin! I loved the leaf in the photo, it's almost like it forgot or is too slow to change colors completely.
My word. This was bloody good, Caitlin, lass. Like. Exceptional. You keep outdoing yourself. I love the rhymes and breeze dried eyes and potpuri colour - are exquisite phrases. That picture is a wonderful example of just how amazing autumn can be and this poem deserves to place for the words and the image equally. Bowled over with envy and pride I am. I applaud you.
"Breeze dried eyes" was my favourite bit โบ
Oooo, breeze dried eyes, that was so clever! And potpourri colour, that was brilliant too! Loved your Haiku and photo!
