Poor or Rich
This is a poem for thought, I wrote it a while ago about the view points of being rich or being poor and I think that it is very relevant once again with what is going on currently in the world with the blind illusions and demands of the big wigs of the rich over shadowing those of working and poor class, but who is truly rich if it is not those who are willing to care and support others.
Do you judge a poor man, with a roof over his head? The poor man which chooses to give to others, even though he has so little himself, that he is willing to sacrifice what he has to help someone. For what truly makes the poor man rich? For he is rich in knowledge, kindness and wisdom, surely these are the greatest things in this ever emotionless world.
But do you judge the rich man, with the mansion, the cars, the glamourous suits, ladies by his side and collections of historical elements? A rich man can have all the money in the world but he may not be knowledgeable, kind or wise, for all the money that he has may not always mean happiness, so truly a rich man can be poor for only being rich in kindness of heart.
What makes someone rich? Is it just the money he has or the glamour he shows on his outward appearance, to be poor is sometimes the best form of being rich for truly happiness will always be for those who have kindness in their hearts, will be willing to help when all else fails, to be equal and not over rule because of societies staged fame.
