Savage eruptions

The very air roasts my lungs

Curse of ash and flame

/////

Why did I not run?

Who could hope to run from this?

The world now a kiln

/////

My friends are fires food

Family an inferno

The empire a pyre

/////

Flesh searing. Vast pain

Everything I know is gone

Please snuff out my flame

About the Creator

Danielle Kelley

I'm making this all up as I go. I appreciate any feedback you lovely people can give me, and if you'd like to drop a few coins in my hat it would honestly mean the world to me.
