Polyfil People

a poem about the world I don't fit in

Walking around in this world

is like being 5 wearing my father's suit

Yea it looks cute

but we all know that it doesn't fit

I keep asking

"where's the substance?"

Every trend since millennial gray

has been tone after tone of everything beige

I just want to see every hue

like Dharma and Greg used to do.

I don't want to just eat almonds

so there's a gap in my thighs

They're screaming body positivity

but Ozempic use is on the rise

all these warriors with swords

behind their keyboards

all trumped up,

bet they wouldn't be

if you' handed them a mirror.

and it's "ok" if you don't names for the faces

as long as you've been to all of the places

and get to click "check in"

get a good pic for the Gram

It's all superficial

fueled by influencials

just look, think, feel the same

polyfil people

with fluff for their brains
