Whats happening America

Where is your lawns so green

Where are your blue spacious skies

And clear fresh water streams?

Why is your skies so dreary now

They're grey as grey can be

Why are your people rioting

From sea to dirty sea.

We need a powerful nation

To clean this matter up

And we must stick together

From sun up to sun up

Our country's just too wonderful

To let it die this way

We've won the wars and walked the moon

Pollution can not stay.

As the late Robert F. Kennedy once said

"Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?"
