Your polite ghosting
Was a red balloon, wind-swept
You made polite cruel.

Well done on TS π
Hey Melissa, I like this polite/cruel turn of phrase youβve used! π
So flyy! Get it Melly Gold!
Yes, I can relate to this. When that one person who knows that you like them makes an appearance, then disappears into thin air like your 'red balloon.'
Clever and cruel.
So flyy! Get it Melly Gold!
Congratulations on ts. Love the message in few words
Congratulations! on the Top Story
love this
Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! ππππππ
That packed the punch you precisely wanted it to pack. Well done. Congratulations, too, on the Top Story!
Ouch!!! Damn people for ghosting!! This made something so painful quite elegant. Congrats on TS!!
Itβs sad how something that seems nice can actually hurt. Thank you for sharing
I have recommended this as a Top Story in this week's "Raise Your Voice" here https://shopping-feedback.today/resources/raise-your-voice-thread-10-17-2024%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Wow, I relate to this so much. This is my current situation.
Well-wrought! All too often we mistake pleasantry for civility, but civility is not always pleasant, and pleasantry is not always civil.
I often feel like a ghost, sad but brilliant words and the ballon will float skywards
Donβt we all know it.
Great piece!
I was once the one who kept calling the ghoster and not getting it until I felt stupid.
Sadly, there's so many people like this out there. You captured that so perfectly in your poem!
