Poets and Writers Lament
a poem about "Blocks" and "Frustrations"
By Shanon Angermeyer NormanPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

A poet begins struck by a muse
holding the ink tightly, not loose ----
the lovers enjoy, some offer critique
the poet continues to bleed mystique.
Then some will say that the writer wastes time
sharing stories for free or sharing another free rhyme.
So the poet moves somewhere else perhaps for a bling ---
and then they tell the writer, "It don't mean a thing..."
"Writer's Block" is nonsense, a nice way of saying "Not today!"
and the frustrations of writers will probably never go away.

Great work, congrats
So enjoyable to read ⭐️🍀🍀🍀
So beautiful! Flawlessly woven rhymes! Great work as always
Hi Shanon - This is just marvelous; rhymes just roll off of you. I've only written one poem; the 'Llama' with Kristen - it took weeks to get it to 'jive' together. Best, Jay
