What poetry is to me is art. Poetry speaks a language so pleasant you have to come to like the arts and words of being a poet or understanding it. How I came to like it was years ago in my middle school class reading a poem or a story by the author John Donne. As I read more of his books and poems the more I like the arts of a poet. One of his books had something in there I adored about it and made me come to like him and how he performs in and through his work. As you come to read my story I'll be talking about why it is important to me, how I came to like it, and lastly why I write poetry. Also, think of an author of any kind and think about why you came to be inspired by it.
Important to me why it's a prime thing on why I came to like it is because of the art that's written in and out through the words. The art behind the poems means something and to me, I come to enjoy being able to read the poems of those subtle poets that got to write and publish them. It also brings you a type of message in an art language only you'll come to like, and how the art flows through the words so subtly. The way you can just get lost in a poetry poem is so erotic and amusing at the same time because the mind flows with words that are shown to them in a handwritten poem. The way some of the vague poems speak to you is how you have to come to listen to what the meaning of poetry is. Another reason why it's important is that the words from the poems are a gift for you to read, understand and come to terms with them. The history of being and writing poetry is just so diverse nowadays that some people don't even know what poetry is in today's world, with everything going on. When you read poetry some think like oh it's boring, but as you come to start reading the words you read in the poems they start to flow through with what you reading.
For me to come to write poetry back in school when I would have the free time to write. I would get all up in my writing when I had practice for the school's volleyball team. I came to faintly pick up writing poems. There's also a lot of history as to why I came to fawn over the arts of poetry. The way poetry opens the mind when reading the words of a poet is meaningful especially when words are so meaningful and sparing nowadays. I started to write poetry because of a friend I did meet years ago. I also started to write poetry for a variety of different reasons but, I always wanted to and my grandpa was the one who came to get me to like to write. The way the poets put the words together and how they come with the rhythm is so cohesive with the arts of a poet. Poetry is also postcolonial literature you gradually come to read and write about. Lastly, I want you to think about what major artist, poet, or that anyone inspired you to get interested in a hobby you have come to fawn over.
