Up in my space,

All up in my feels,

Calming the seas,

Poetic chill

Radio static,

‘Lyrics in Motion’

Vibes of the music,

Tides of the ocean

Diving in deep,

Deep diving again,

Searching for answers,

When will it end?

Tired of swimming,

Just gonna float,

Waiting and wishing,

Needing a boat

Can’t see the lighthouse,

It’s really dark,

Stars in the sky,

Confetti sparks

Too many days,

Enough is enough

All of these waters,

they been so rough

Space in my mind,

The place that I go,

When I’m all alone,

When I need some hope

Talking to ghosts,

My former selves,

Boxed and ignored,

Dust on the shelves

Books all in place,

Chronological order,

Tales of my life

Now I am older

Older and wiser,

Aging like wine,

What would I do?

If time would unwind

Who would I be?

Where would I go?

Answers to questions,

I don’t wanna know

Words from the past,

Find me again,

Words from my heart,

When trying to mend

Captured in time,

Letters to me,

Giving me hope,

For what was to be

Walking the tightrope,

Walking the line,

My future hero,

Credit all mine

The road will be hard,

Way understated,

Moments of pain,

The ones that I hated

Moments of strength,

Moments of light,

Moments of darkness,

Darker than night

Standing on business,

Fighting a monster,

Strength of an army,

Demons to conquer

Finding my way,

One step at a time,

Loving myself,

Is that such a crime?

Writing my story,

The life that I lead

I get the say,

You get to read

Nobody’s puppet

I’m not your slave

To dig me a grave

Finding my strength,

Changing the tide,

Roar like a lion

Untamed and refiend,

Seeing my strength,

No longer blind

Resting on faith,

The place in the book,

The one faraway,

Where I seldom look

Faith in my purpose,

Faith on a mission

Trying and failing

Getting knocked down,

Talking to ghosts,

Those of my kin

Justice is coming,

Flipping through time,

All of the stages

Night turn to day,

Dusk until dawn

Chess moves on point,

I’m not your pawn

Finding my place,

Moments are drifting

Storm is now over,

Fog is now lifting

Floating on water,

Bed of emotion
