Poem: Tears

Tears fall like raindrops from the sky,

A storm of emotion that we cannot deny.

They flow from our eyes, down our cheeks,

A language of the heart that words cannot speak.

Tears of joy, tears of pain,

Each one a story that we cannot explain.

They cleanse our souls, heal our wounds,

A reminder that we are human, not immune.

Tears of love, tears of loss,

Each one a bridge that we must cross.

They connect us to others, to ourselves,

A reminder that we are not alone in this world.

So let the tears fall, let them flow,

For they are a part of us, a part of our soul.

They remind us of our humanity,

And the beauty of our vulnerability.
