The train chugs along the tracks,
A journey towards destination,
Passing by fields and towns,
A rhythmic motion, a sensation.
The whistle blows, a mournful sound,
Echoing through the hills and valleys,
As the train speeds on its way,
Through the countryside and alleys.
The passengers sit in their seats,
Watching the world go by,
As the train takes them to their destination,
Underneath the endless sky.
The journey is long, but worth the wait,
As the train rolls on and on,
Towards the place they long to be,
Their destination, their new dawn.
And when the journey's finally done,
And the train pulls into the station,
The passengers step out, with a smile,
Ready for their new creation.
