Life after death, a mystery untold,
A journey beyond, a story unfold.
What lies ahead, we cannot see,
But faith and hope, will set us free.
The soul departs, from the earthly shell,
To a world unknown, where spirits dwell.
A place of peace, a place of light,
Where love and joy, are always in sight.
The memories of life, will fade away,
As the soul transcends, to a new day.
The pain and sorrow, will be no more,
As the soul finds rest, on a distant shore.
The journey is long, but the end is near,
As the soul approaches, without fear.
The gates of heaven, will open wide,
As the soul enters, to forever abide.
Life after death, a mystery revealed,
A journey of faith, a destiny sealed.
For those who believe, the end is sweet,
As the soul finds rest, at the Savior's feet.
