Look to the love between sky and earth

Living with a believe that they will meet at the end

Continue to express their love for each other

The sky sends ‘clouds and rain’ to check on its beloved earth, expressing affection without ever physically reaching

The earth builds ‘towering’ mountains in fruitless efforts to come ever so close to its dearest sky

Even if just for a moment

When the mountain peak seems like it’s touching the sky

When the rain from cloud seems like it’s soaking the earth

Adoration and fondness flows through those moments, and, lo and behold

Never met, the sky and earth keep on loving each other

We can all glean lessons from this pure love story

With the pandemic closing around us, we can still express true love to those not near

With loving gestures, thoughtfulness, through kind emotions

On this very special Valentine’s Day

Let each and every one of us find our mountain and cloud

Find a way to show love - using the sky above and earth below as our beacon
