Poem About Bukowski’s Grave & Paranoia.

“Trust Goes”

By Ethan Godsoe Published 5 years ago 1 min read
Bukowski’s Grave in San Pedro.

TRUST GOES

I can see only a few Stars

Tonight,

And cherish the bit of Chinaski you

Gifted me,

As I enjoy a Beat.

Caffeinate Myself,

And Pretend

That I’m a Land Lord.

Hedge after Hedge

And,

Jackal after Jackal

Trust Goes.

....

TONIGHT, TOMORROW

Desire to

Help the West coast

People in

Tents swells.

The Nights

Are long, They never

End-

Desire.

The smouldering Coal, That

Little Moon

In my Eye that flies

Into the

Bottom of Cans.

There’s no Stars And the Dragon’s

Hidin,

Plans!, Plans!, Plans!

Exhausted by their formulation.

These Nights

They’re long-

Desire.

Picture some Miami

Deity’s Tear

Smilin.

....

Please consider giving this a like :-)
