Please take 8 antibiotic pills each day for seven days
Next, take your INR when you get home to check levels of blood thinners
Eliminate your multivitamin and dairy for seven days
Understand going back on the sleep apnea machine when you can.
Most important is that you get plenty of rest
Once you have taken the antibiotic for a few days
Now you should feel better and be out of this in a couple of weeks.
If it worsens, it will be important to come back in.
And the pneumonia you have is not contagious.
~~
Cancer it isn’t!
And how do I know that?
No, I don’t know that.
Certainly, it could be?
Every scan has said no!
Really, Denise, it just isn’t so!

So why am I worried about cancer? It doesn’t matter what happens to me healthwise, I always think it could be cancer. In 2012, I was diagnosed with bronchitis, then pneumonia, then pneumonia again, but at that time, more tests were taken and I was thought to have ovarian cancer.
After being scheduled with the gynecological oncologist, she examined me a determined I didn’t have that cancer, then I was told that of the three cancers that they thought it could be, I had the best of the three.
I was sent to the bigger city medical cancer center, where I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of cancer that was considered treatable, probably not curable. During the testing process, I was placed in the hospital and coded.
I had been sleeping sitting up by this time, as I had been sick for a few months by this time, and I had passed out and they had me on my back, so I coded.
When I came to, I was told the specific type of cancer I had, and I had been given my first dose of chemotherapy when I was on a respirator and under.
This may be why pneumonia is a bit much for me to contract. Then I am co-training on Friday, so will I be better by then to do that? If it’s pneumonia, I should be, and if not, then I need to remember it is treatable, and that I am replaceable.

Thank you for sharing your experience so openly. It’s completely understandable that pneumonia would stir up anxiety after everything you’ve been through.
