Those repeats gave me goosebumps, so tragic but yet beautifully captivating. 👏🏽🤗♥️
This is kind of heartbreaking but I like the wordplay here. Excellent writing.
Bittersweet memories and the pain of separation. Amazing ✨
Excellent
Beautiful I love this
Ohh! This hits different! Playful, nostalgic, and just the right touch of sass. The wordplay with “lime and lemon” to “knife and life” is fire! Also, yay for thoughts returning from vacay—love the vibes!😊✨
Another gem Maryam. I particularly liked the lines: Your tangy words were my drugs Hand in hand—our fantasy was rhyme You were my lemon I was your lime I love the flow
Maryam I love this very much. Each line so entwined. Such emotion. Very well done!
"You were my lemon I was your lime" "Did you tell our stories to your wife?" These lines were my favourite. Your poem was very relatable!
