Can you come back?

Back...

I miss your old smile, your eyes;

Your every message, and your replies

Can you say those words?

Finger-promises and those hugs

Your tangy words were my drugs

Can you return one more time?

Time...

Hand in hand—our fantasy was rhyme

Can you at least say 'hi' to her?

HER...

You changed your path—route of your life

Did you tell our stories to your wife?

    Ohh! This hits different! Playful, nostalgic, and just the right touch of sass. The wordplay with “lime and lemon” to “knife and life” is fire! Also, yay for thoughts returning from vacay—love the vibes!😊✨
