Planetary Substance

When I realized I was a poet.

By RiddlePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Towering giants nestled in nooks

Timeless scripts written in stones

Countless whispers of shared stories

A fern's embrace, a collective home

Creeping patterns across my veins

Pulsating juncture, one and the same

Follicles a tease, felt with the breeze

Finding ancient paths, an innocent game

New branch to harness

Frequent flyer no more

Cast your shadow within

Amongst towering giants we explore

Promised fire, a glimmer of hope

Quenched roots, braided in knots

Relish in your songbirds story

A tame lion lost deep in thought

entangled amongst bamboo knots

Feigning a shallow lake presence

Blackhole a guided path

Planetary substance is an essence

Relish in your love song, child

Burrow deep in your nest

Braided within you all along

Tattooed across your chest

A trance of songbird serenades

Footholds across fanned leaves

Guidance in lullaby’s up ahead

A kaleidoscope whistling in the breeze

Purplish haze of wispy conclusions

Vastness an untouchable release

Teeming tales in silent bubbles

Clenched throat but at peace

Praying up six steps steep

A mantis finds purpose in rhyme

Muffled mime take off your gloves

Now’s your time to shine

surreal poetry

About the Creator

Riddle

Every morning I look naked into the mirror and repeat, "I love, appreciate, and accept myself exactly as I am."

Love is the cure to this maddening, chaotic world. Show it to yourself, for it will ripple into your reality abundantly.
