Pink Anti-Bully Shirts Requested
Dated 1968 - Journal Purple Moleskin Entry
As for the bullies, I hope you learned to be kind.
The black eyes you gave me, was truly a crime.
Grateful for the pink bully shirts they have now.
Teaching children, youths and adults, it is a crime.
A daily entry in my Moleskin Journal I daily wrote.
Learning to feel safe, I wrapped myself up in my big red coat.
The true colors of my youth, were not all beautiful and bright.
Darkness, loneliness attacked me, as a dark grey night.
Than as the years went by.
I rose with yellow, blue, green and orange, I was no longer shy.
Although I was small, I learned not to back down.
To speak up to others, turning them around.
I am compassionate like the color blue,
I love everyone, from all walks of life, and proud of it to.
Like a rainbow rises after a storm.
We are all equal, and that is the norm.
The shinier the shade, the happier I feel.
Food with colors, gives it an added appeal.
We can rise up in the world with colors, or with our hearts.
Never to allow others, to separate us apart.
We can march together in neon colors that are bright.
We can do anything we wish, because you and I, shine as bright as dynamite.
We unite together, both you and me.
We shall all be treated equally.
