A Poem about my Hatred of Pills

Those fucking pills have stolen me

from being who I might have been.

The pills have stolen my identity.

I'll never know what life is like

without help from the damn pills.

I'll never feel "normal,"

or what I assume that is.

I can't be a normal 22-year-old.

Not with all the changes from pills for everything...

Seizures, bipolar, anxiety, and some goddamn supplements.

What's it like to not need pills?
