why do I take so many pictures?

that's an easy answer

so that everyone can see what I see.

I've catapulted out the door with my pants on inside out and backwards to get some sunrise photos

I've been almost late for work because I was getting sunrise photos

I don't really do it for me- they're to share with others

it's for the ones who miss the sunrises and/or the sunsets

it's for the ones who don't get outside much

the busy ones

the harried ones

the disconnected ones

the overwhelmed ones

the sad ones

there's just something about nature

that draws us close to it.

we began in the Garden of Eden

and we've been trying to get back there

ever since.

If I can bring one person closer to nature with my photos, then that's enough.

that's I can bring the beauty that surrounds us into focus for one person, it's enough

Every photo is a moment captured in time, proof of the beauty and wonder of Creation, and I just want to show the world.

And THAT'S why I take so many photographs...
