Connection comes from the soul and the mind

As well as the heart

People somehow joined together

Even when far apart

Love of each other, a belief or a cause

Connection brings them together

No hesitation or pause

Connection is love whatever the form

Steadfast together, until it is torn

Friendship generates love, and we all need it. Excellent poem!

  • That's the one problem with philia: it can be torn. And when it is, the level of betrayal is felt deeply.
