Petrified gun pointed

Scream! LIFE IS PRECIOUS

By Neusa MorenoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Amidst the chaos and the pain,

The controversy of guns remains,

A world armed to the teeth with steel,

The price we pay, a bloody deal.

The gunpowder scent fills the air,

As bullets fly, with lethal flair,

The trigger pulled, a life is gone,

A tragic end, a haunting song.

Innocent lives, lost to the cause,

A reality that gives us pause,

The power of the gun, a force to reckon,

Its deadly grip, a lasting lesson.

The dark side of humanity revealed,

As the world is plagued and unhealed,

The thirst for power, the need to control,

Leaves us with scars that never quite heal.

The debate rages on, with no end in sight,

As we witness the terror, the endless fight,

The gun, a symbol of our darkest fears,

A reminder of our deepest tears.

We must confront the truth, face the pain,

And learn from the past, the deadly stain,

For only then can we hope to break free,

From the grip of guns, and find true peace.
