Perfumed Verses
A poem crafted in perfume’s guise,
Its scent a lure, its charm disguised.
Each word a note, a fragrant plume,
Filling the air with a soft, sweet bloom.
Provocative, bold, it dares to sway,
Dancing where shadows meet the day.
Teasing readers with feathers of thought,
Entwined in whispers the muse has caught.
A trace of jasmine, a hint of spice,
Its rhythm precise, its tone so nice.
It lures the mind with an artful tease,
A captive drawn by scented breeze.
With every line, the essence flows,
A bouquet of wonder only the poet knows.
Strong yet subtle, it holds its power,
A perfumed verse, a blooming flower.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

This is a poem for the sense of smell for I could even smell the essense.
