Perfection does not Impress Me

Perfection does not impress me,

for it's only in shrouds of pretend.

Dancing to a tune of lies,

Where I cannot fix or mend.

*

A G-dly existence but unseen,

leaving me to imagine only.

But not one thinks perfect as mine

and then my thoughts get lonely.

*

It breathes an air in a world

so far, yet desired by all.

But for me it's just fantastical

that's not worth wanting the drawl.

*

It cannot manipulate me

into falling for its shine.

Perfection does not impress me

For, I'm unperfect, And I'm still fine.
