It's been months waiting and hoping, since all of this started,

quietly sitting on the side, watching you running uncharted.

I never asked, out of respect, but I was dying to discern

those deep reasons to relinquish dreams and hopes, out of concern.

My mistake was to maintain the same dull posture all this time,

never shifting my attention, but observing from outside.

When I placed myself correctly, and found your comforting zone

all the signs were comprehensible, clearly written in stone.

I heard your voice like the first time, and your chant was clear as day,

I observed and admired, most of my fears running away.

As I was trying to form part of your deepest ghouls and creatures,

I forgot how "double-sided" is one of your best and lovely features.

Isn't it so freaking truly amazing how we can lose focus and attention?

When we read the signs inverted, they do lose their main intention.

I will be permanently and surely invested, while recouping takes its toll,

sipping beer while I re-read the lighted sign that makes me whole.
