Perfect Imperfections

We Love You Still

By DonJuan Carter-WoodardPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Today I tell you you are perfect

With all your perfect imperfections

Your flaws were made just for you

Not a cookie-cutter copy cat

But A absolute original

This way the world can identify it’s you

I never seen a snowflake sad for its uniqueness

So I won’t shed no tears for you

But shower you with love

All the kisses and hugs

With a home in my heart for you

So pure you are

I wonder how you view the world

Wishing I could shield you from the hatred of this cruel world

Of the ignorance and injustice

The prejudice and hate

Just the fear of things we don’t understand

Especially for things way out of our control

Guess for you the universe had other plans

When you smile I feel warm and all gooey inside

For your radiant smile has no ulterior motive

Something you very seldom see in this world

So I cherish these bite-sized morsel moments

Never let the world stop you from climbing to the highest Heights

Others may only see in their dreams

Because to me you’re perfect

With all your perfect imperfections

And you can accomplish anything

inspirational
