Small white pebble
Of high note treble
A singular song does sing
Immense pride and joy will bring
River blushing and rushing
Loving touch and waters hushing
The more the caress and more the finesse
Pebble much to explore
River cannot help but adore
Hand in hand through river bottom flow
Skin smoother and smoother as they go
Harmonies may not last forever
As river widens, propels like a lever
Pebble into greedy sea grumble
All can be heard is forlorn mumble
River cry, river cry
Pebble cannot deny, deny
That ever there was a love so sweet
When they flowed down to love song’s beat
