This soundtrack inspired the emotion that went into write this poem.

December 7th, 1941

2,400

lost souls

emerge from

the warm cyan depths

cascading over golden dunes,

ethereal remains intertwine in the grains

of sand. Glistening with the silvery warriors of the sea.

Clinging to the edges of the graveside gunmetal battleships.

Pearls of wisdom, resilience, silent cry to never give up, never forget.

United, we stand strong.

A poem to be remembered. This was a sad day for America, and even today when people walk across the Arizona and look down you can still FEEL. Great work.
