they say keep the peace
they say not to fight
as they ripe away any quality to your life
they garnish your paycheck
and garnish your rights
and garnish each breath
while they deny it's a crime
calendar rolls to the new year
but it feels like 1789
I might not speak french
but I know how they fight
a guillotine might be a heavy design
but its only one click to make a bullet fly
after all shoot to defend
is the most cherished American right
