Peace Somewhere Over the Rainbow
No killing just love and respect for all creation

Peace Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Somewhere beyond the world we know,
where love is the only seed we sow,
hands reach out without a name,
no walls, no fear, no one to blame.
The colors blend, yet all shine bright,
no shade unseen, no wrong, no right.
Voices rise in songs unsung,
no bitter words on any tongue.
Faith stands tall but never divides,
no need for borders, no chosen sides.
Different prayers, the same embrace,
all are welcome in this place.
Children laugh, their hearts unchained,
no heavy past, no future pained.
Eyes meet eyes with warmth, not war,
no locked-up hearts, no bolted doors.
No flags to burn, no hate to feed,
just human hands in human need.
A world where kindness lights the way,
where love is law, and love will stay.
Somewhere over the rainbow high,
no tear is shed, no dream must die.
A land not lost, but yet to be,
a place we build, both you and me.
About the Creator

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

Some would say that this is only a dream, but it is a beautiful dream. Good job.
Just beautiful and the kind of world we really need.
We need this in the world and our lives, Marie. Well said.
