The path is beaten down and lonely.

As I tread through the dark passage.

Life opens the skies.

Light shines in.

The journey is not yet over.

Yet I could stay here forever.

Pleasure poisons my mind.

A wavering mind.

Though I stumble on the beaten path.

Stopping the completion of my character.

I cannot but wonder.

If God is watching.

Will his promises ring true in the end.

Can I stay on this winding trail.

I must have patience in God to persevere.
