I shuffle divergent patterns.
They’re constantly changing.
Everything was always there, and yet each time
there’s a surprise that this time
things arrange themselves strangely,
unfamiliar and unfitting
to the molds ingrained in my brain.
Since my teenage years, many things have changed.
New realities have emerged,
layered on top of the old ones.
These fresh patterns resemble a sugar coating on a cake.
Despite their bitterness,
they form a tasty and growing circle of stories.
The means are a kaleidoscope.
From above, everything is neat.
Nothing ties to Earth.
Everything floats in the air.
It is fulfilling and refreshing
like spring rain
towards the sun's perspicacity.
