Realistic Dreams

In the realm of slumber, where dreams take flight,

A world of enchantment, bathed in soft moonlight.

Yet, as morning whispers, a cruel decree,

I find myself torn, from that realm so free.

A pleasant dream, like a fleeting wisp,

Evaporates slowly, from my grasp it slips.

The warmth of reverie, now icy and cold,

As reality awakens, a story unfolds.

In the cocoon of sleep, where illusions thrive,

Hopelessness lingers, as dreams take a dive.

The vibrant hues of joy, a fading glow,

As I exit the reverie, descending below.

The sweetness of fantasy, a bitter farewell,

A tender embrace transformed into a spell.

The world of dreams, an ephemeral trance,

Leaving me with a taste of bitter circumstance.

The vibrant landscapes, now distant and faint,

As I step into a reality, stark and quaint.

The melodies of dream, a haunting refrain,

In the wake of hopelessness, echoes of pain.

Yet, in the shadows of the waking hour,

A glimmer of memory, a fading flower.

The hopelessness wanes, as dreams leave a trace,

A lingering echo of that ephemeral space.

For in every dream, a message is weaved,

A reminder that hopelessness is soon retrieved.

As dawn surrenders to the day's grand scheme,

I carry a fragment of the dreamer's gleam.
