Past Life

Poem

By Desmond RazzanoPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I think I..have seen you in a past life.

I can’t recall, it all seems like a dream to me.

No matter what I’ve done or said, there isn’t any reasoning.

My logic has a pulse, but every day it’s weakening.

I think I..have met you in a past life.

I don’t know, but I feel it in my chemistry.

Deny it all you please, but you are part of my identity.

I wish that I could trust you, but I’m plagued with my own jealousy.

I think I.. have felt you in my past life.

I’m not certain, but I never want to be away.

Just accept you’re inside of my DNA.

Not one moment in my shoes can I afford step astray.

I think I..have loved you in our past life.
