Passion Waning

Fueling the Flame

Passion is overwhelming,

passion is fleeting,

how quickly does a passion

become our identity.

-

Yet as fleeting as

the Winter Sun,

how quickly passion

can wane.

-

It wanes when the prospect arises,

of money incoming,

yet when the money does not flow,

how quicky it wanes.

-

It becomes easy

to tell yourself,

that you no longer enjoy

that you're not good enough.

-

When the money doesnt flow

or interest fades,

enjoyment dissipates

back to square one.

-

So remind yourself

proclaim to the inner voice,

don't let it take over

and dim your passion flame.

-

Of the enjoyment you gain

the reasons you started,

let your passion remain true,

do it for you.
