Preparation Met Opportunity

I got some success in selling arts

A wise writer friend told:

preparation meets opportunity.

I agree.

With the hope of

creating a revenue stream

by selling what I love,

while living my ikigai,

I made this online account.

For months, it brought nothing,

but huge disappointment.

I thought, in a crowded world,

my creativity meant nothing.

But then, out of interest,

without a tinge of earning motive,

I painted the Buddhist monks.

Facebook led to Gumroad,

and now it has sold in three digits.

Preparation met opportunity, indeed.

I am glad, rejuvenated.

It inspires me to support

fellow writers and artists.

So, don't lose hope,

don't sit idle, prepare.

Opportunity will knock

one day, sure.

My Gumraod account and the Buddhist arts. You can explore other arts too. I am in the process of adding many books too.

Here are the links. Thank you for interest.

I've not heard of Gumroad before. It's very intriguing. I'll have to check it out. Thank you for sharing this!
