Note - Here is a link for Poppy's Challenge this month. This is the second of what I hope will be a few entries:

They say that you can feel it pass;

the silent chord falls,

like newspapers we have just

forgotten.

They think that these moments,

certain movements in parallel

like time, will remain; not to be

beholden.

*

They see that this world changes;

a final drawing down of the time,

and something remains

unspoken.
